"EcoEternity Forest at Highroad faithfully embodies the words spoken for centuries: This body we commit to the ground, earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust.”

Is an EcoEternity Forest a park?

EcoEternity Forests are preserved in a natural state. They are not parks. The trails in an EcoEternity Forest are designed to protect the natural beauty of the forest. These forests are mixed stands of indigenous trees, bushes and wild flowers. People who want to enjoy a walk in an old growth EcoEternity Forest are encouraged to do so.

Urne und Grab
A biodegradable urn is placed into the soil about 3 - 6 feet from the trunk of a tree.

Where are my ashes interred?

The ashes of the deceased are interred at the drip line of a leased tree, located in mature woodlands, which has been designated an EcoEternity Forest. Over time, your tree will absorb the nutrients of your ashes converting the tree into a living memorial.
