What is the EcoEternity interment process?
Typically, an EcoEternity Forest interment is similar to any cremation: first, decide on cremation and the Funeral Home ceremony, then, the Crematorium will send the ashes to the EcoEternity Forest. On the day of the interment, we will make the opening at the tree and the ashes will be placed into a biodegradable urn. Our personnel will escort relatives and friends to your tree at the interment site.
You may elect to have a religious interment ceremony or a quiet remembrance at your tree. Some people do not host a ceremony at the funeral home but elect to host a small reception at the retreat center on the day of interment. Presently, all our EcoEternity Forest locations offer reception and religious facilities. Please contact our service center for further information.
