Forest property is bought by the EcoEternity/FriedWald Foundation

EcoEternity Korea Inc. is making progress after Korean funeral law changed in May 2008. The Korean funeral law was modelled after Germany’s cemetery legislation, the home country of the EcoEternity movement. EcoEternity Korea Inc. is at heart of leading ecological burial concepts in Korea.

Status September 2008

The EcoEternity Foundation is currently being founded and has acquired forest property for its first EcoEternity Forest. The property is located in the Gure/Hadong area with spectacular views overlooking the Seomjin river and Jirisan National Park.

Gure lies on the express rail way line from Soul to Yeosu which is hosting the 2012 World Expo and can easily be reached by KTX (Korean Train System) via Gure-train station. The region of Jirisan is well known for its magnitude of historic and beautiful nature sites

An increasing number of highly repudiated Koreans endorse our EcoEternity initiative. Among other, we are supported by the well known lawyer Mr. Park Won-Sun who also works as a Chairman of the Beautiful Foundation. Several members of his staff have visited the property over the last months.

The EcoEternity Foundation has agreed in principle with the County officials about the cornerstones of the foundations. Major hurdles were speedily taken as the forest acquisition was quickly completed. The legal formation of the foundation will be completed in 2008. The first interment is scheduled for early 2009. The overall EcoEternity service concept is adapted to Korean tradition; however it is closely modelled from the successful German notion. EcoEternity Korea Inc, Seoul, is the lead consulting partner. www.friedwald.biz
