I live in VA now, but I lived in Holmes NY as a child. That will be my final resting place. I already decided to be creamated, but I'd rather nurture the earth than collect dust on a mantel somewhere!

What a wonderful "earth friendly" idea! With all the forest conservation in this area, I'm surprised someone hasn't came up with that idea around here. I would definitely sign up for it!

I have planned the funerals for practically all of my elder relations and my son and I plan on cremation for ourselves. I cremated my aunt and have been holding her ashes. This idea is a true blessing. Now I can have a place for myself, my aunt, and even my beloved dog. Wonderful!!!

I simply love this idea. For me this is the ultimate solution for a nature loving person. Somehow being thrown in the ocean did not work for me but scattered amongst the trees feels beautiful. A place where loved ones can come to visit too. Hopefully you will establish a place in Calif. and I will sign up ASAP. I also love the idea of nurturing the forest after I am deceased.
