I recently lost my husband, He was cremated. Bob is from Texas and I have been struggling as to where to place his ashes. I stumbled upon this site and would like to know if there are any Eco Eternity forests in the Texas area.

As a nature lover this is a awesome place to be when you pass away.I never wanted to buried in a box in the ground, taking up space for a tree or other things to grow. This is enviromentally friendly ( which we need so much ) and just a beautiful & peaceful place. Thank you for this information. I am going to share this with my family. Thanks, Pam

I LOVE this idea as I prefer cremation.I want to let others know about these great places and hope the idea catches on! WE have cremated our pets as well and a forest setting seems so peaceful This is great!

What a wonderful site I have fallen upon. I have always preferred cremation, but have pondered as to where to have my ashes scattered. I have now found my final resting place.

Is there any alternative to interring ashes? I have spent the last part of my career fighting climate change and I don't want to go out by adding more CO2 to the atmosphere through cremation. Do you have a natural burial option (no embalming, simple pine box)? The Appalachian tradition is to wrap the deceased in a burial quilt and then put them in a simple, quickly made box. That appeals to me greatly. I have terminal cancer and my sisters have already made by burial quilt. We've done this for every member of our family, even my father who is buried at Arlington National Cemetary. I know this is a nascent but growing movement (natural burial)and not all counties permit it, but I thought I'd ask on the off chance that you'd accept me this way.

Thank you,
Malin Jennings
