EcoEternity Forest in Georgia

Located an hour and a half north of Atlanta, GA, the EcoEternity Forest at Glisson lies in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Since 1925, the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church has invited children, youth, and adults to visit the 367 acres of forests surrounding Cane Creek Falls.

About EcoEternity Forest at Camp Glisson

Glisson is a camp and retreat center, hosting over 2,500 summer campers and more than 5,000 retreat guests each year. Whether having visited as a camper or on a retreat, many alumni develop a life-long connection to the falls, creeks, lakes, and trails they have come to affectionately call “Holy Dirt.”

Positioned in a valley, the majority of Glisson’s campus is focused in a narrow portion of the property. The rest of the grounds act as a nature preserve with trails for experiencing the wonder of creation. The EcoEternity Forest allows Glisson to use this dedicated land to further its mission as a life-long, generational ministry.
